they came out immediately and fixed the problem. The linemen crew (Roger, Eddie and Patrick) did a great job when they were called out to our house. My wife and I were very impressed with their personalized service and their attention to detail. It was obvious that they wanted to do a great job. Thank you!
Phone system is not checked or updated after storm. System hangs up when trying to leave additional info per it's directions, ie: transformer was hit. System texted that power was restored, it was not. Auto system said outage wasn't reported, was reported over 24 hrs ago. Since they run off a FPL sub grid you'd think they'd have better info.
Recently our lights started flickering and when I called Vero Beach Electric
It's 2017 - time to start accepting electronic payments!
Horribe service, both in regards to customer and power. Once arrived in person to pay bill at 455, and doors were locked and cashiers ignored me and laughed at me. Power goes out if wind goes over 20kts. Takes days to come back and customer service is dismissive and rude. When you rise concerns about tree branches over power lines, they write off concerns and state "we know what we are doing." Next storm, aforementioned brances bring lines down and back to waiting days and largely being ignored. Installing solar panels ASAP and will be pushing for FPL to take service area away from this company. Would be ok if it was an isolated incident, but it is systemic and chronic. I cannot even imagine if we actually got hit hard by a serious storm, I think the whole City would lose power for months. Plus, they piggyback off FPL when they lose power, so really you are paying FPL sometimes for your power. Incompotent is an apt description of this company, second, choice derelict, as they can barely maintain the current infrastructure, much less move into the future.
Vero Beach Electric Dept. and infrastructure is absolutely horrible. I have lived at the same address for 4 years, The Power will go out with the slightest wind, And it always takes days or weeks to get the service back, as expensive as it is. The heat of a Florida summer is deadly, COVB Electric SUCKS!! PLEASE REPLACE MANAGEMENT ASAP
