Friendly Harbormaster and staff. Reasonable rates. One of the nicest marinas on the Treasure Coast.
Very good facilities with GoLine public transport bus stop right at the office, unfortunately only average customer service and extremely inconsistent WiFi performance making the Internet basically unusable.
I had not seen the other comments about Kevin..but this problem seems to go way back.
The most unsettling experience of our six month journey. After contacting the marina, advising them of our arrival, it took three more calls to get Kevin to come and help with our lines. Everything we asked for seemed to be an imposition and met with a surly attitude.
Horrible experience! Called to stop for supplies and food while sailing up the intracoastal and called on ch 16. Asked if we could stop and get supplies - no answer. We stopped at the dock so I could ask if I could buy some supplies.. the dockmaster flew his arms in the air and asked us if we were going to stay overnite. We said no we just wanted to get some food and supplies and he told us no we could not get them even though the sign said they had them. I asked him if he thought I could get supplies at the next marina upriver (Loggerhead) and he said yes.. i told him I hoped they were friendlier there too!!
Good location. Power pedestal out near our slip but we ran our cords across and down to an empty one. Wi fi didn't work. Those were all part of cruising and unremarkable but the reason for writing this review is to comment on staff member Kevin whose rudeness was a true standout. Brusque and occasionally unresponsive on the radio was just the intro. In person he was rude, short-tempered, totally unhelpful and refused to assist us with our lines after directing us to the wrong slip. Once we were in, we chatted with our slip neighbors who had had similar experiences with Kevin. When I mentioned all of this the next day to another staff member, it became clear that Kevin was a problem in need of a solution and we were encouraged to put this in writing so here it is.
