What a wonderful surprise to find John Michael Matthews Fine Jewelry! I may be jaded, but I didn’t believe that pride in workmanship still existed in the jewelry industry. I came to them with a 3.5+ carat sapphire with diamond baguettes set in a platinum ring with a split in the shank. Due to their extensive knowledge, they diagnosed the issue with the metal in the platinum setting. I brought them another platinum ring that I had and asked if they could merge the two rings (not an easy task.) They actively listened to me; they took the time to understand my taste and style. Working with them is relaxing and enjoyable. Through old-world craftsmanship combined with the newest technology, and unique vision, they crafted a ring well beyond my expectations. Victoria Kerkela did the work; yet, it was apparent the entire team consulted. Thank you Victoria, Jade, and, of course, Michael! I am so delighted with my ring – it is exquisite!

If I could make it 6 stars I would. The jewelry is beautiful, that goes without saying. But the service is fabulous. I recently brought in a couple of pieces of jewelry for appraisal, and the sales staff could not have been more patient, professional, and accommodating. Purchases have been easy and fun!
