The food is ok could use some work. Im from Brooklyn NY and we know Italian food, pizza etc.... this food cant compete

In all my years of eating out, I have never written a bad food review...but this dereves to be known. We had a night and day difference in the quality of the pizza at Vittorio's. First time it was pretty good and the second time, last Friday, it was terrible. We called to let them know that the two "specialty" pizzas we ordered were absolutely nothing like the ones we received the first time, about a month ago...we thought that there must have been a mistake with our pizzas since we could absolutely not eat them after the first time it had been so different. When we called, the employee actually knew what night we had a bad experience before we even told her because she stated they had a lot of problems that night and then HUNG UP on us. We called the other store and the manager was kind and wanted to offer us a redo on one of the two "specialty" pizzas we ordered. Then, the manager called us back and renegged on the offer as they stated after speaking with the owner, he said we were trying to scam a pizza! We are in shock that they would actually take back their offer for a new pizza that we never even ask for. So insulting. It's just a shame. Never again. With so many pizza places in town, we will not ever support Vittorios again.
