It's not just about towing and free gas should you break down along the side of the road. Explore the perks as a lot of club memberships provide services and benefits that you're not even aware of. In this instance, 5 passport photos would have cost more than the upgrade of my AAA membership from Classic to Premier.
Been a AAA member most of my adult life. Flat tire, run out of gas, and AAA to the rescue. Well worth the membership. Now they have my car insurance. Tried different companies, no one could beat their rate.
Lots of staff available so very short wait time. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff.
These people are not helpful at all. The lady I spoke with to arrange a tow was rude and treated me really bad. I will be canceling my membership! I have had the premier service for years and this was the first time I needed a tow.

Very knowledgeable staff
Plenty of perks with the AAA Plus or AAA Premier membership. For many years, I went without AAA as I've owned brand new cars and never had an issue. Moving from Fort Lauderdale to Vero Beach, we started with the Classic membership, moved to the Plus, and recently went to the Premier because of the perks. And since I'm still back and forth from Broward to the Treasure Coast, you never know when you might break down, have a flat or just need that extra bump in service that is available from membership.
My favorite perk of the AAA Plus and AAA Premier membership are the free passport photos. In recent need of passport renewals, I brought my family of 5 to the Vero Beach office. After all - "free" beats the price at my local Walgreens or CVS. Friendly staff and quick service. After verifying my membership level, we were taken care of and on the road within ten minutes.
