If they only had a better reputation for treating their employees right (fair pay, benefits, stock options for all) I'd never shop at Publix again.
Great food and beverages to choose from. My favorite section is the candy area, where you can load up bags with your favorite treats, or select pre-wrapped bags. The atmosphere in the store is nice. The deli is interesting in its structure - placed in the middle of the store, you can walk around the edges of it and see the staff working. All sides of the deli have a wide selection of food to choose from. For Vero Beach, this is a grocery store that sticks out for its uniqueness and novelty. I absolutely love the place.
I shop here when they have specials. Their store brand is good quality. They are pricey and they cater to an upscale crowd. However, you can find things here that you won't find elsewhere. The bakery and deli are very good. They also have a large selection of wine and beer.
As I was shopping a member of the staff briskly walked over to the candy section and proceeded to take a handful of candy, which is absolutely disgusting, considering many costumers (without knowing) will be eating that candy that is contaminated with whatever else his hands have touched. Then he skimmed over products, and ate the candy. He even made eye contact with me and pretended nothing had happened.
Best place to find anything for gourmet cooking. Some of the best prices on local organic produce in town. It's like the best indoor market ever and you can't beat the Tuesday specials and great selection of excellent wine at reasonable prices.
This is my favorite food store! Their meat/seafood is top quality. Produce is organic and beautiful. Deli has great choices. I just bought a chicken pot pie in the deli area, not a frozen one, and it was excellent. Good as homemade. Bakery is great and has some Sugar-Free baked goods. Other parts of the store sell items I can't find anywhere else. Their prices can be a little high, but check online for their Specials and shop accordingly.
