I am very pleased with the service I received from CGS. Sherry, Laura, and Tara were attentive , accommodating, and resourceful with the planning of my Dad's funeral. He was a veteran ; however, we were unable to locate his discharge papers. Since we had time constraints to have the memorial service to allow for out of town guests, CGS, particularly Tara, expidited the arrangements allowing for a beautiful memorial service. I would choose CGS again.
BEWARE !! Not so much with the funeral/cremation business itself but with the seminars one of their employees puts on at various restaurants in this area. This employee, Claudia Corey Church is very misleading when it comes to presenting the benefits of prearrangement of services. My wife and I have reported her to the Funeral association and to her manager (who claims he will wait for the funeral association to make a judgement before he does anything) but in the meantime, these seminars are still being presented by her and who knows how many people are being mislead and almost frightened into signing up for their services by out right lies and deception on her part. I have a witness who attended one of her meetings with my wife and I and we are waiting to see what the company and the funeral association is going to do before we ask our attorney to step in and file charges. Like I said, I don't know anything about the company itself, but their presenter needs to be taken off that job and put somewhere else, out of the listening area of Seniors. If you get one of the solicitations in the mail from this person/company and you decide to sit in, bring a tape recorder and then check out what she says with the funeral association. BEWARE!
