We've been ordering from this farm for three years through our kids' school fund raising. We had great experience in last three years; however, this year (2016) the navel oranges are not of great quality at all. They are not sweet or fragrant as they used to be. We ordered as many as 26 boxes to give them away as gifts to our friends and neighbors but now regret it so much. They charged $23 per box...when the quality is not even close to the ones you get from local grocers. I am just so disappointed and upset about this lack of consistency in quality. I will never order from them again.
Thanks to you our school raised over $12,000. The fruit was terrific, and we had many customers asking for more. Many of our customers were concerned about the impact of the hurricane on your crops. You assured us the fruit would be good - and it was! Thank you!

My daughter's school has been doing fundraisers from FIRG for a long time. Personally we have had this experience for 7 years since she started kindergarten. It used to be fantastic. It was the freshest juiciest fruit you would ever want to eat. I was guaranteed picked fresh and delivered to the school within 48 hours (or something like that). I have noticed the quality of the fruit declining over recent years. This year was the worst. In my 20-pound mixed orange/grapefruit box I was shocked to see completely different oranges than we have ever received before....they were California Oranges, not Florida navels. I picked up my fruit box 5 days ago, and today when I pulled out a few oranges on top, I found two rotten, moldly oranges beneath them. This is absolutely unacceptable. Plus we sold boxes of fruit to 9 other people. I am hoping and praying theirs does not have moldy fruit in it too.
For over 30 years I have purchased oranges from our school bands. I feel good helping out our students with fundraisers. This year however was a complete disappointment! I paid $80 for navel oranges that are so sour it's sad! I ordered this fruit for elderly people and already gave it too them before I checked my own. I don't want a refund. I was just letting you know that your product was unacceptable this time. I'm sorry to have too say this because I have always been quite satisfied! I hope you take into consideration what I have said and not put quantity befor quality. Thank you for your time!
